The best of Pasadena’s fall season
October in Pasadena means crisp air, falling leaves and good old-fashioned trick-or-treating. For those itching to get their halloween fix, there are plenty of wonderful events and activities nearby that will leave you fulfilled for an entire year.
This year marked the return of the highly anticipated CraftoberFest at Pasadena’s own Rose Bowl. The premier event featured live music from Festmeister Hans, pretzels, bratwurst and of course all the craft beer you can drink! With over 20 California breweries including Paperback Brewing, Hofbrau, Unity Vibration Kombucha, Three Weavers, Trustworthy Brewing, The Bruery & many more Pasadena is bringing the spirit of Oktoberfest to sunny Southern California. Mark your calendars for next year so you can partake in this wonderful Pasadena tradition.
From now until October 31 take a ride over to the beautiful Descanso Gardens and enjoy the festivities at Carved! All ages are encouraged to embark on a walk through the Camellia Forest and Oak Grove which will be lined with eerie jack o’lanterns and oversized sculptures made from twigs, leaves and other raw materials. No Halloween spooktacular would be complete without a Pumpkin House, Hay Maze and plenty of themed food and drink, and Carved does not disappoint. Tickets are available on their website!
When the celebration comes to a close, amenities at The Terraces are perfectly designed to help you wind down. Whether it be cozying up by the fireplace, brewing up hot chocolate or drawing a bath in your state of the art tub, Terraces is luxury living that lives up to the name.
