Head out to the Rose Bowl for their annual Half Marathon

Dust off your running shoes and get ready to hit the track for the Rose Bowl Half Marathon on September 26th. Whether you are celebrating the fresh air, supporting The McCord Foundation or encouraging a loved one, this half marathon is a tradition you don’t want to skip.

The event is hosted by the incredible McCord Foundation who will donate the proceeds to neurological research in hopes of advancing the knowledge and treatment of Alzheimers, ALS and MS. Aside from the Rose Bowl Marathon, TMF has hosted the LA Marathon, LA Big 5K, Boston Waterfront 5K, Santa Monica Classic, and Tour de South Shore. With the mission of empowering and encouraging healthier individuals and communities all over the world, participation means allowing others to succeed as well.

Not a runner? No big deal. The volunteers at this event are not only requested but necessary. Sign up on the website for one of the many volunteer positions or grab some friends and help out as a group. Volunteer positions include everything from handing out water and packet pick-up to being a Radio Operator or onsite Massage Therapist. Be a part of the fun in whatever way suits you best.

For all of the young athletes out there, TMF will host the Kids Run shortly after the main event is complete. Anyone ages 3 – 8 is encouraged to sign up to run a half kilometer and get a taste of the action. This year, a virtual option is in place as well! Runners who can not make it out to Pasadena are welcome to sign up online and run with the rest of the crowd but from the comfort of their own surroundings. TMF has made this experience inclusive to anyone and everyone, so come happy, hungry, and energized!
